Aegis Title Associates, LLC, provides complete real estate title services to buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, real estate brokers and attorneys across Maryland and the District of Columbia. Aegis Title Associates examines the title to real estate, conducts closings, provides title insurance and records the title documents. Closings can be scheduled at our office or wherever else settlement needs to take place.

Debi Grim, Alan Engel, Mike Dacre and Tonya Spicer attended Land America's continuing education seminar regarding recent State legislation dealing with mortgage fraud as well as topics on reverse mortgages and other current issues in real estate law.


September 6-9, 2007

Alan Engel, Debi Smigovsky Grim, Mike Dacre and Cass Tyson of Aegis Title Associates, LLC attended the Maryland Land Title Convention in September in Williamsburg, Virginia. The convention enabled the Aegis Title Associates team to take continuing education classes on a variety of legal and title issues to keep them up on cutting edge industry knowledge to benefit their clients.


September 8-9, 2006

Debi Smigovsky, Alan Engel and Mike Dacre all attended continuing education classes in Ocean City at the Maryland Land Title Association annual convention. Classes covered how to deal with issues at closing, mortgage fraud and identity theft.

The Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce and the Pasadena Business Association helped us host our Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Open House. We thank all who attended and everyone who has helped us over these past two years. This move would not have been possible but for the business we have been able to conduct almost all of which comes from your kind referrals.

Aegis Title Associates moves to its brand new facility in the Quarterfield Center at 808 Landmark Drive, Suite 223, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. We now have two conference rooms in a beautiful new building just off Quarterfield Road, just east of I-97 in northern Anne Arundel County, four miles south of the Baltimore Beltway (I-695).

A new title company is born (just what the world needs, right? -- YES!). Deborah Smigovsky and Alan Engel form Aegis Title Associates, LLC and begin operating at 206 New Jersey Avenue NE, Glen Burnie, Maryland. This is the site of Debi's former business, Aegis Title Company, LLC, a separate legal entity. Aegis Title Company, LLC is now out of business, but we have access to the former company's files and continue to help service customers of the former company.
